  Thorough Wash & Decontamination Process

  Cleaning starts with a foam bath which helps the dirt and grime fall off your vehicle. Next, we use a decontamination spray, iron or fallout remover, or a clay bar treatment as these ensure a deep cleaning down to the microscopic level, and lessen the possibility of further damaging the car paint. Our detailed decontamination process eliminates elements like tar, iron particles, etc. hidden within crevices in the paint job. Next, all of the exterior trim is taped off to prevent damage or staining from the compounds and polishes.

  02

  Analyze the Cause & Extent of Damage

  Now that the paint is clean, it is important to examine the paintwork closely. We look for swirls, scratches, oxidation, and other imperfections in the paint, and make a note of their location and severity. This will help when determining which products and techniques should be used throughout the correction process. We use a professional-grade digital paint thickness meter that informs us of how much we can polish a particular section or panel of your vehicle’s paint and specialty lighting, for identifying tiny imperfections.

  Level the Vehicles Surface

  A microfiber cutting pad is used with a cutting compound alongside professional-grade tools to remove most of any remaining defects. For deep scratches or orange peel, they must be removed with a technique known as wet sanding or color sanding. This is the process of using a moistened series of specially designed automotive sandpaper with very fine grit to remove the top layer of clear coat. The cut is monitored closely using selected lighting methods to ensure a good balance between paint removal and surface finish quality. Working in sections, our technicians progressively work down through heavier abrasive compounds with tighter pads to more refined, resin-based polishes.

  Buffing & Polishing

  Polishing brings out the shine and gloss by removing hazing and enhancing the paint clarity. Polishing will remove the scratches, marks and other blemishes on the car paint while retaining the car’s actual color. Oftentimes, it takes numerous polishing stages to get the job done. The first is the most abrasive which removes the deeper scratches while the subsequent, finer polishing stages remove the lighter surface abrasions. Paint correction is an important part of the process for protecting your vehicle’s paint. After the paint is completely corrected the next step is to add a solid layer of protection with our Ceramic Coating.
